A small goal for many - a big goal for me. I used to LOVE creating on YouTube back in the day on my other channels. But life happened and I feel off. It’s been an on again off again relationship since. But we’re getting there slowly and we’re having fun with it ✌🏻

I’ve been feeling like I’m constant falling behind. Like a game of catch up I can’t keep up with (life). I think I’m in a season of slow down. Enjoying the small wins. Taking in the moments. Step by step. And that’s ok 💜 my heart is happy and my family is too and that’s the biggest win I’ll ever have 💜💜

I had a student in one of my art classes once back in the day...
She was maybe in the 50s and introduced herself like this...
"Hi, I'm (let's call her Kathy). I don't know why I enrolled in your class, but here I am."
Kathy then went on to tell me how she hated her job.
About how it was boring but it paid the bills.

She started to paint and we chatted.

About halfway through the first night of class, she lit up a bit and started enjoying herself. An almost childlike presence emerged. She said she hadn't painted since Kindergarten.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Well...I was SO excited one day in school. I'd drawn a horse, and I couldn't wait to go home and show my mom my picture. When I got home, I ran into the kitchen and showed her. She took my paper, looked at it, started laughing and said, "you're not very good at art are you". And since then I haven't wanted to try to create anything."

My. heart. broke.

All these years.
ALL THESE YEARS.
All the things she could have created but that one sentence from her mom stopped her.

I think about this story often.
About all of us adults who've stopped creating...or said we weren't creative...or took career paths that were different than what we really wanted.

I've heard so many similar stories since this one
So, if this sound familiar to you, I want to encourage you - it's not too late to create something awesome. Or try the new thing. Or think outside the box. Or whatever it is you've always wanted to do.

Write the book.
Quit the job you hate.
Start the business.
Call the friend.
Go on an adventure.

Literally anything.
Create a new reality for yourself.

Just CREATE again (and keep creating - your life will change before your eyes).

But deep down, that spark is still there.

What if we gave ourselves permission to think like kids again? To dream big, wild, colorful dreams without overthinking? To create just for the joy of it?

Here’s your reminder: You don’t need anyone’s permission to imagine, to build, or to believe in something magical. You already have that creativity inside you—it’s just waiting for you to tap back into it.

So go ahead:
✨ Start that project you’ve been putting off.
✨ Doodle in the margins.
✨ Write the story, paint the picture, or build the thing—just because you can.

The world needs your magic, and it’s never too late to rediscover it. 💖

Let’s create like we used to—fearlessly, joyfully, and without limits.

A recap of this year...
I've been thinking about this year for several weeks really. It's been such a wild year that I'm still trying to wrap my head around...

So, here's my mini-list of events this year:

✅ We moved (something we've been saving for and trying to do for 4 years!)

✅ We had a wild ride medically - 4 ER visits, a hospital stay for Caleb, a surgery for me, multiple urgent care visits for all of us, etc. it was a lot.

✅ I've supported more clients this year than any year before and I'm SO proud of myself and the business I'm building. I've built a small team, and we've helped clients all over the US launch their websites, courses, membership sites, workshops, masterclasses, books, and more. It's been SO FUN and the best (and busiest!) year yet.

✅ I bought myself an xTool laser as a reward for a great year. I'm excited to try and figure out this thing and create some cool stuff (hopefully)

✅ My business mastermind is going 6 years strong 💪🏻 I've been meeting with this group of women since my son was 4 months old (he's now 6!). We've grown, laughed, cried, and supported each other and I just think that's really cool.

I'm sure there are tons more to put on this list but those are the things that stick out tonight.

Meet my son 💕 I love his passion for space. He LOVES wearing his space suit everywhere. He’s always so excited to show someone new his suit.

He doesn’t care who stares. He’s fully himself. I admire that so much about him. He’s confident and expressive. He’s eager to share his knowledge and excitement with others.

As adults, we’ve witnessed a lot of personalities and a lot of life right? We’ve been made fun of, bullied and picked on for what we wear, our thoughts, our dreams.

And things like that can make us retreat and not share who we really are.

Maybe we even choose different career paths than what we really want to do.

Or we dress differently than how we truly want to.

The point is - I want to encourage you to find that place inside you that wants to shine. The REAL you. The one who wants to create new things and get outside the box.

You only have one life.
